2025 in One Page: Restoring Dignity, Rebuilding Futures
As we close out 2025, we look back with gratitude at what has been a transformative year for
Betharbel Foundation and the communities we serve. Here are the highlights that defined our journey
this year.
Education
- Enrolled and educated 300+ displaced children at our free elementary school
- Transitioned 48 students from primary to secondary school through Transit a
Child
- Supported 15+ dedicated teachers through our Adopt a Teacher program
- Launched the Karatu Mobile App for offline-first learning
Nutrition
- Served over 6,400 meals through our Feeding Futures school meals program
- Ensured every child received at least one nutritious meal daily
Empowerment
- Hosted the inaugural Reclaim Her Global Summit with 300 women
- Launched Tech Boot Camp for displaced youth
- Started Betharbel Recycling to train youth and women in eco-skills
Looking Ahead to 2026
In 2026, we aim to build 4 new classrooms for 400 children, expand our teacher support program, scale
our digital learning tools, and host the second Reclaim Her Global Summit. None of this is possible
without you.
