Behind every educated child is a dedicated teacher. At Betharbel Foundation's IDP camp school, our teachers show up every day — often without pay — because they believe in the power of education to transform lives.
The "Adopt a Teacher" project ensures that these passionate educators receive monthly stipends, training, and the resources they need to continue their vital work. Without consistent support, we risk losing our teachers — and our children risk losing their education.
Teachers are the backbone of our school. They create structured learning experiences, provide emotional support for traumatized children, and maintain the stability that makes education possible in an unstable environment. Supporting them directly means supporting every child in their care.
We currently have 15+ dedicated teachers serving over 300 children. Each teacher needs an annual stipend of ₦800,000 to sustain their commitment. Your support directly impacts the quality and consistency of education these children receive.
