Every year, dozens of children at our IDP camp school complete their primary education. But for most of them, that's where the journey ends — not because they lack ambition, but because they lack the resources to take the next step.
The "Transit a Child" project bridges this gap by providing children with everything they need to enroll and succeed in secondary school — from registration fees and uniforms to textbooks, school supplies, and ongoing mentorship.
Without secondary education, displaced children face a future limited by poverty, early marriage, child labor, and exploitation. By transitioning them to secondary school, we give them the chance to build real careers, contribute to their communities, and break the cycle of displacement.
48 pupils have already been successfully transitioned from our primary school to various secondary schools across Abuja. With your help, we can reach even more children this year.
